Basic Strategies For Zerg

This is ProAnnn, a typical 2k diamond zerg player. Today i'm gonna share some basic ZvP/ ZvT / ZvZ strategies and build orders.

For ZvT,
1. FE into Mutaling/Mutabaneling
BO:
9 Overlord
14/15 Hatch
14 Pool
17 Gas
16 Overlord
100% Spawning Pool - 2 Queens
1 Spine at Natural ASAP
100 Gas - Metabolic Boost
Another 100 Gas - Lair
Get your 3 other Gas
100% Lair - Spire
50% Spire - Baneling Nest
100% Spire - 1 Air Attack upgrade
100% Baneling Nest - Centrifugal Hooks
Grab a 3rd by 12th minute

General Info: Try to keep droning unless you sense that a timing push is coming. Scout with speedlings. Try to send speedlings to Xel,Naga Towers and suicide lings for information. Place overlords at their natural to see when they expand. Expansion means safer for you. No expansion means timing push coming, get earlier baneling nest or more lings or more spines. Balance out banelings and mutalisk.

Harassment: Try to mutaharass mineral lines as much as possible. If not try to take out stray supply depots and addons.

Engagement : Try to engage in an open area and on creep so your zerglings can surround and your banelings can clear the marines. Magic box mutalisk if there are thors. Spread creep well so that its easier for banelings to roll in.

Possible transitions: Double evo upgrade attack and carapace into ultralisk.

100% Lair - Spire and Evo chamber
100% Spire - Melee attack and Air attack upgrade
Get 3rd by 10th minute

General Info: The build order is similar and almost exact to FE into Mutaling for Terran. Only difference is that you dont need banelings for Protoss. Basically drone till 2 bases are saturated with drones. Only make lings when you scout a timing attack or pressure. Try to send speedlings to Xel,Naga Towers and suicide lings for information. Place overlords at their natural to see when they expand. Expansion means safer for you. No expansion means timing push coming, get earlier baneling nest or more lings or more spines.

Harassment: Same muta harass the mineral lines. Try to pick stray pylons for Protoss.

Engagement: Try to engage in open space and on creep so that it is easier for your zerglings to get a surround on the protoss stalkers. Try to let the lings engage first before mutalisk fly in. Target sentries with guardian shield first. If there are phoenixes, micro ur mutalisk well to intercept them. Too bad i cant find any tutorial videos.

Possible transitions: Double evo upgrade attack and carapace into crackling/ultralisk.

For ZvZ
1. Speedling rush
BO:
9 overlord
14 gas
14 pool
pull drones off gas after 100 gas
Metabolic boost at 100% pool and 100 gas
Queen at 100% pool
21 hatch
Spam speedlings at enemy base to pressure while you expand

General Info: Early speedlings grant you map control and forces ur opponent to stay in his base. Zergling runby into his base if he moves your with his lings or roaches.

Transition: Transit to roaches / mutalisk in mid-game
