Ghost First (vs Terran) Empty Ghost First (vs Terran)

Well is TvT too boring for you? Wanna spice it up a bit? This ghost build (from liquipedia actually) has served me quite well in TvT, especially if they don't bunker. However my ghost academy / ghost sometimes gets spotted. And they bunker. Sad But thats not the point here.

The aim of this strat is to catch the enemy by surprise and transition into a bio midgame if you don't win outright. Bio midgame vs T is pretty simple, drop marauders everywhere. Don't bother playing catchup in tanks and vikings, you won't win. If you let him reach the stage where his vikings are spread out well enough to catch your dropships / sensor towers, you kinda lost already. Therefore you gotta step on him quick.

Build Order:
10 supply
11 refinery
12 barracks
15 marine
16 OC
16 ghost academy (hide it, etc metalopolis in the smoke / corner of lost temple, where it cant get scanned)
16 supply
16 tech lab
ghost academy + tech lab should finish around the same time
18 ghost
21 refinery
21 barracks
tech lab

after the ghost, start making marauders and get stimpack and concussive shell. tech up towards dropships and try and drop 6-8 marauders with stim into your enemies mineral line from behind. it can do critical damage if they went for a tank expansion, and if they panic and unsiege their tanks, snipe them and you can win outright. don't attempt to play catchup in mech tank /vikings, you will lose.\

or another way to destroy your opponents economy if you're not confident: swap factory onto the 2nd raxes techlab, 2nd rax makes another techlab, make a starport asap, make 3 hellions out of factory + preigniter upgrade, dropship from starport. 3 hellions with preigniter will be done when dropship is flying to your enemy base.

the power of the ghost is that it can snipe down enemy scvs and marines. kinda baller, really. pull 2-3 scvs with your ghost + marine to the enemy base. snipe enemy marines and kite enemy scvs.

im am famiiar with this buid. It was first popularize by QXC.it transitiones into a bio heavy play,which is very viable on maps with wide open spaces.on maps with lots of chokes it looses to viking/tank if u cant reach the tanks in time.
